Height

Measure structural opening height in millimetres.

Width

Measure structural opening width in millimetres.

Maximum overlap

(80% - 100%)

Curtain will be heavier, will hang better and provide a better barrier but will cost a little more.

Minimum overlap

(40% - 56%)

Curtain will be lighter weight and not so heavy duty, but will cost less.

Marker

Red marker edge warning strips are a safety feature designed to highlight the edges of the doorway to forklift drivers. Red marker Edge strips are not essential but they are a nice health & safety feature and they look great on a new curtain.

Strip Type

For curtains less than 3m high the 200mm PVC is normally ok. For 3m to 5m high curtains we recommend the 300mm PVC and for curtains over 5m high you should select 400mm PVC. For more detailed information about our PVC range please contact us.

Fixed Curtain Track

Each PVC strip is bolted onto a fixed track for additional support in heavy duty applications.

Hook-on Track

The standard PVC strip curtain track, this allows each strip to be easily hung with a hook on clamp, allowing easy installation and replacement. 

Sliding Curtain Track

The entire curtain slides to one side when opened. Be sure to keep the full structural width of the track clear on one side to allow the curtain to fully retract.

Under Lintel

For under lintel fixing, the strips will fill the structural opening only with the track being installed to the underside of the lintel.

Face Fixing

For face fixing, the track is mounted above the structural opening and the PVC strips will overlap the sides of the opening. 

 

Please note that you only need to provide the full structural opening measurements, and our configurator will make any neccessary adjustments needed for either fixing option. No manual calculations needed! 

Clamp Required

Clamps are used on hook type suspension systems, It help in mounting the PVC strip onto the rail.

Light Duty – Suitable for Pedestrian traffic.
200mm x 1mm to 2.7mm
300mm x 2mm

Medium Duty - Suitable for warehouse traffic / forklift.
300mm x 2mm to 3mm

This door is shown with a 7mm clear PVC upper section and 8mm black rubber lower section. Other choices are available using the customisation tool. 

Non-standard door sizes range from 0.75 m wide x 2.0 m high up to 3.0 m wide x 3.0 m high. 

Doors are internally sprung with excellent durability.

Delivery

Deliveries are typically made using pallet carriers. The carrier will deliver your goods to the destination you specify when placing your order. We will inform you of the expected delivery date and time for your order before despatch. Please make sure that your goods inwards department is aware of the delivery.

Returns
